Thought Bubble preview

As the murky depths of winter draw even closer, it's still no excuse not to go all out your best lolita attire this November. Thought Bubble returns to celebrate all forms of comic art; from graphic novels, to cosplay and in a bumper packed 4 day chunk.

Thought bubble is one of the biggest convention's in the north, and every year it celebrates comic artists, and graphic novels with a one day convention in Leeds. Bringing together writers, artists, traders, and merchandise with an abundance of workshops, screenings, and exhibitions.

But it's not just comic art, cosplay (short for "costume play"), and anime are also celebrated.

Kicking off on the 18th November, Thought bubble will be bringing a plethora of events to the public over the four days as part of Leeds sequential art festival. Ever wanted another excuse to dress up as a zombie?, discuss comic artists in a gallery?, create your own Momiji doll?, find out how to publish yourself?, or get your own portfolio reviewed by a Marvel editor?

Normally you'd have to day dream about it, or at least get some concerning looks from on goers whilst you munch on passers-by tasty brain meat. But at Thought Bubble you'll get a chance to do all these and so much more!

With an abundance of workshops, seminars, art installations, and most importantly parties, you'll be spoilt for choice over the four days.

The festival leads up to the grand day convention on the 20th at Saviles hall, kicking off at 10am with plenty of workshops, seminars, Q & A's, a cosplay competition, and even Dr sketchy's late in the day for a spot of burlesque meets art!

You can also find an abundance of stalls over the convention from publishers, artists, and even a few designers thrown in for good measure.

Thought Bubble kicks off on the 20th November, with side events running from the 18th-21st as part of Leeds sequential art festival. Tickets for Thought Bubble can be purchased on the day or in advance from www.thoughtbubblefestival.com, & cosplayers can get in for reduced entry!
