Manchester is certainly being spoilt rotten of late, a city previously devoid of alternative markets & fairs now it's lucky to be a regular host to The alternative & burlesque fair.

Fresh from it's December fair, The alternative & burlesque fair takes over Manchester's Sound Control for a full three floor shopping & entertainment experience. In what's set to be one hell of an afternoon this February 25th.

If the last fairs were anything to go by this will certainly be one busy afternoon, with not one but three floors of stalls that provide a bounty of alternative styles. Everything from exquisite corsetry, deliciously squeaky latex, darling vintage inspired attire, kitsch jewellery & gothic attire can be found under the one roof from the likes of Alternative footwear, The black wardrobe,

Madame Dee's, Betty eX, Arcanum accessories & much more.

And if that's not enough to whet your appetite all the delightful trimmings regulars of event organizers Heresy n Heelz usual twisted cabaret evenings can be found. With free treats from Bizarre Ultravixens, performances across the venue's two stages from members of the Ministry of burlesque to alt performers including Vivid angel & Simon South. Not to forget the delightful new additive of a neo-victorian peep show installation. Certainly one not to be missed!

The alternative & burlesque fair opens it doors from 12pm - 6pm at Sound Control, New Wakefield street (just off Oxford road). Entrance is £5 on the door & is strictly over 18's only. Entrance includes a fabulous free goodie bag at the door!
