City feature: Liverpool
Alt fashion re-visited Liverpool. What with Quiggins closing down at the
end of the summer all of the shop's originally based there have now up &
moved to various locations around the city. So with very little news on
the new shops cropping up Alt fashion popped along to hunt out the shop's
to keep you all up to date on the new array of Liverpublian shops &
where your favourite Quiggins shops have ventured to.
Once you pop out of central station (from the left hand exit) you are immediately
on bold street which is the new location for quite a few of the old Quiggins
shops.
First up is Resurrection.
Still stocking a mixture of vintage items & retro clothing
over this new 2 floored shop. Upstairs you can find mens clothing & downstairs
womens alongside changing room decorations including a harley!
As you carry on up the street & turn to your left down newington
you will come across 1847even which used to be the sweet shop in Quiggins.
Mostly selling smoking gear now alongside the odd accessory
of gloves, wallets & belts.
Further on you'll come near a huge building called Grand central.
This folks is the new home to Quiggins old shops.

When you first walk in you can find new shop Dead goat, selling more
emo esque clothing from tee's to skinny black jeans. Then if you carry on
through you'll find Grin.

Selling the usual mix of items from goth worthy clothing to
leopardprinted goodies to baggy jeans to make up and kitsch items.
Then heading up the stairs you'll find Morgana's lair.

Still selling lots of gothic clothing from pvc dresse's, velvet
skirts, corsets, adoreable fairy wings & manic panic hair dyes.
Then you'll find a windy staircase leading to the alley-esque
layout of shops downstairs.
You'll find a huge mixture of new shops downstairs selling comics,
vintage clothing, accessories & footwear.
As well as more of the Quiggins shops such as Woodstock.Still selling doc's, band merch & jeans.
Another noteable shop downstairs is Miss millie.
